Though this was an interesting attempt to prove the power of Active Rain it was a bit misleading and misdirected.  A reader would make the assumption that just a blog and a few hundred back links can get a person to page one of Google very easily.

There are just too many factors in this equation for this to really work.  The phrases they were using had little to no competition.  The agent who vaulted to page one of Google has no competition either.

My attempt here is to get this blog to page one of Google in less than a week.  I am going to use the phrase “The Power of WordPress”.  I do believe that this will vault to page one of Google in far less time than one week.

WordPress has lots of Google Juice, as does ActiveRain but I want to show how easy it is to hit page one of Google with very little used phrases that have little to no competition.

The Power of WordPress is amazing and I will show it has as much Google Juice as ActivRain.  Please understand that in the world or Real Estate, ActiveRain is King in the blogging world.  I am not saying other wise and it not my intention say anything other than the contest was misleading.

So here is my blog on why I think that The Power of WordPress will launch me to page one of Google.
